Forward in Faith Houston is the Houston, TX assembly of Forward in Faith Ministries International (FIFMI), founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti. FIFMI has nearly 30 assemblies spread across the USA, and locations in over 170 nations and states around the world.
We’re a growing family church developing through prayer, worship, and being rooted in the Word of God. We believe in fellowshipping together, and building lifelong relationships and bonds that are founded on faith in Jesus. Visit us and you’ll be welcomed with open arms. About Our Founder – Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti
In 1960, Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti was used by God to establish Forward in Faith Ministries International (FIFMI) in Zimbabwe where the church is known as ZAOGA. After having received the call of God through countless supernatural encounters from a young age, he served God tirelessly, preaching the gospel with signs and wonders following. At age of 100 years old, he was promoted to glory, having this testimony: that He preached Jesus for over 75 years nonstop, to the glory of God. Together with his partner in the harvest and beloved wife, Apostle Dr. Eunor Guti, they have (and continue to) impact the nations bringing people young and old to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The burden upon Dr. Ezekiel Guti’s life, and the pattern which God established through him, led to the birth of Forward in Faith in Houston. We’ve seen God transform lives through His power and are working to become a center of hope where people will experience change. Our aim is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the city of Houston, in response to his call in Matthew 18:19.
Our Lead Pastors
Pastors Masimba and Kudzai Vilika both grew up in FIFMI, and had the call of God upon their lives from a young age. The two both served as Pastors in ZAOGA Forward in Faith prior to their marriage. Over the course of their ministry, they have traveled to a number of countries and ministered in a variety of capacities. Pastor Masimba is a multi-gifted minister of the gospel of the Kingdom of God, and the Lord has entrusted him with a Kingdom and faith message which teaches believers to “speak like God” and receive what they say. Pastor Kudzai is a teacher of the word with a love for dissecting scripture, as well as a desire to reach the world through media and technology. The two are proud parents of 3 lovely children.

Our Beliefs
Salvation comes through Jesus Christ
We believe that salvation comes by conversion (repentance). The Bible says All have sinned and are in need of salvation which God provided through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We emphasize that man must be born again by the word of God. (1 Peter 1:23)
